TRUSTED VERIFICATION

Validated Proof of Death Before Transferring Your Crypto

When the day comes -- and sadly it will come for all of us -- all your beneficiary has to do is provide Keevo with proof of your death in the form of an original government-issued death certificate. These provide unique information about the deceased along with a certificate from a licensed physician or coroner who validate the identity of the deceased and are required when claiming inheritances. Before we co-sign any crypto transfer, Keevo will validate the original death certificate provided by your beneficiary and confirm certain information with the personal information you provided to us upon setup.

CONFIDENTIAL, CONVENIENT AND SECURE INHERITANCE

Keevo Co-Signs Along with your Beneficiary to Transfer Private Keys and Crypto After Death

Once all requirements are met and satisfy our means of validating your death, Keevo will send your Carbon Key™ to the beneficiary you named. Beneficiaries will then be able to enter their password and fingerprint – previously encrypted on your Carbon Key™ – to decrypt their Private Keys. But, since they aren't you, our multi-factor / multi-sig authentication system requires two signers; in this case and as part of our secure storage and beneficiary service, Keevo is required to co-sign with the beneficiary in order to transfer your private keys and crypto to them.
